I don’t know why

There is a lot of questions in life that come our way which we don’t understand. It is with grief and sadness when those have got something to offer for the gospel’s sake in church, or Christian service are not asked to do so. Sometimes we volunteer and still not accepted to do that which we volunteer to do.

A lady came up to me not long ago and had complimented me on the way I have brought up my children. They are mid to late teens now. My goal in life after marriage is to quality time with my children. This has been a joyous and growing experience. What if I was fully in the ministry? Would I be where I am today?

My job is almost done in raising children. What is my next task that God wants me to do? It would be great to share my walk with God over the years and the personal experience I have had with Him. Many times I can relate to Scripture in a very personal way. This is a privilege we have as Christians or those who know the Lord in a very personal way.

Paul in the Scriptures was a very intelligent man and a very intellectual scholar but what about those who have a genuine heart for God? Are we forced to sit in a rocking chair for the reason that God was committing us to a different task over some years..   I think not. I believe that the intellectuals need to let those who have a heart for Jesus in to encourage other believers in their Christian walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

As we go through this Christmas we may be thinking how the minds and hearts of man can be changed, so the Gospel won’t be hindered. We need to pray that the bars be taken away so the gospel cannot be hid by others.
