Sowing and Reaping

Reaping what one sows has and is a favourite verse of scripture. It is a warning to us personally. However in saying this, We need to be careful we don't tell God how and when or if he should put circumstances in our lives so reaping what is sown is a reality. Hearing a saying one time "Grace will trump Karma" Although Karma is Hindu, it is fair to say if and when God offers Grace to a person, then Grace will trump reaping what is sown. Therefore, reaping what is sown is a warning, But in finality it's up to God if he is going to cause a person to reap what they sow or if He will give a person Grace. God's Grace is given through forgiveness. If it were remembered all the things we have done wrong in our lives, then reaping what is sown would be like carrying a monkey on our back, but God in his wisdom has given us Grace through His patience with us. In saying this, In many cases asking for forgiveness is the answer to avoiding reaping what is sown. Also, there has been times when God has given us Grace anyway, yet there have been times reaping whats sown is a reality to us. Yes, we should take the warnings from scripture seriously, ultimately it's totally up to God how he deals with what we've sown. Will he give us Grace or will we reap what's sown? This question isn't up to us to determine, but up to the sovereign will of God. Let's not try to tell God what He needs to do. What do you think?
